Day 192: MST3K Short: Alphabet Antics

23 Dec

Hey everyone!

So for today’s post, I wanted to feature a video by some of my favorite people.

For those of you guys who’ve never heard of Mystery Science Theater 3000, MST3K was a tv show on both the sci-fi channel and comedy central back in the late 80s-90s. The premise of the show is that a man was shot into space as a guinea pig to a mad scientists (who wants to destroy the world by showing them terrible movies). The guy built a bunch of robots to keep him company, and as they watch these horrible films they make fun of them. It was hilarious, and it has lived on with the fans that love it!

In fact, all the actors from the tv show have moved on to do similar things (Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett, and Kevin Murphy make up Rifftrax and Joel Hodgeson, Trace Beaulieu, J. Elvis Weinstein, Frank Conniff and Mary Jo Pehl make up Cinematic Titanic)

But I digress…

Tonight, I wanted to feature a short that the guys riffed called “Alphabet Antics”.

And, if you’re interested in more of their work, check out the MST3K information, Rifftrax.com, and Cinematic Titanic.com!

Hello there! If this is your first time on the site, be sure to check out the about page at the top for more info on my project! Also, sign the guestbook (also located in the top)!

Today I bring you a gorgeous animated short called “Papiroflexia.” The title is Spanish for the word “origami”, and the story is about a man who is very skilled at the artform. It is very pretty, and short too!

Enjoy this little piece of loveliness. It’s really pretty and always makes me smile. I wish life was this simple! :)

Day 42: Sushi Cat

1 Jul

Hello there! If this is your first time on the site, be sure to check out the about page at the top for more info on my project. Also, you can sign the guest book in the top corner.

Today, I’m gonna make it short and sweet, mainly because I’m tired.

It’s a game. It’s amazing. It’s adorable.

I present you with Sushi Cat! You eat sushi, so you can be large and be able to get into the building where your love is.

Click the picture below to play the game! It’s pretty easy to play, and it always brings a smile to my face.
